The songs explored in this 1962-1966 edition are all from the first half of their lives together on record: the period largely characterised by Beatlemania, concert tours, Cuban heel boots, hair on foreheads (but not faces) and songs that were hummable and predominantly about boys who liked girls or girls who liked boys.
