Lindy Cameron

Lindy Cameron was born in Traralgon, Victoria. She attended Tintern Grammar School in Melbourne from Grade 3 to HSC.

Lindy worked as a journalist (cadet) on the Geelong News; and later on the Chadstone Progress; before heading overland through South-East Asia to India and Nepal and on to the UK and Europe for 18 months.

On her return to Melbourne she took a job as Book Editor with Lonely Planet the travel guide publishers, soon becoming Senior Editor. After six years editing other people’s travels, she went freelance to work on other people’s maths and English books; and then got really adventurous and wrote a novel.

She is now the published author of four crime novels and an espionage thriller; as well as contributing Editor and co-author of two True Crime anthologies: Meaner than Fiction and Killer in the Family.

Lindy is a National Co-Convenor of Sisters in Crime Australia (over 500 members nation-wide) and editor of the group’s magazine, Stiletto.
